Why do I need to guard my heart?

Do you know why you need to guard your heart? 

You have the greatest treasure hidden in your heart - Jesus Christ, the hope of glory. 

Simon, the sorcerer, kept a city under his spell with magic. The magic failed and stopped after Philip the Evangelist preached the gospel. 

Your unsaved family, friends, or people you know are under the spell of Satan. Their hearts remain filled with pride, lies, and hatred. You have the greatest treasure, Christ, and the beautiful feet that carry the gospel in your heart to preach. 

Young one, you have the greatest gift of salvation in your heart. Give Jesus to your juniors as you learn and grow. 

Satan fills hearts as he did Ananias and Sapphira, Judas, and others. 

Jesus has filled your heart with spiritual blessings and riches of heaven.

As you preach, guard your heart. If you don't protect your heart, you will fall. The wisdom of God is more powerful than anything on the earth or the universe. When we accept the wisdom of God in obedience, the Holy Spirit makes God's word known to us (Proverbs 1:23).

Abide in Christ, and He will abide in you (John 15:4). Maranatha, Praise God, and Amen.
