The Time Is Short, What Are You Living For?

A necessary question for the times we are in, What are you living for? What is your goal for this life as Spirit baptised children of God? What are we pursuing? Who are you pursuing?

This journey is certain (1 Corinthians 9:24-27). All other journeys will perish. Let's not miss out on an eternity reserved for all who pursue Jesus.

It’s easy for us to get distracted with this notion of so much to do. Examine your life today, remove what’s not necessary to make room for what is. God's word is necessary. His anointing is necessary. He is necessary!

What are you living for?

Everything we do today needs to prepare us for the coming of Jesus.

“in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”

1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:52‬

We are not waiting uselessly. There is work to do. There is a deadly opposition against us - not man, but the dark forces of evil. This labour is not in vain. The good work God has started in our life, He will finish.

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

1 Corinthians 15:58

Jesus is our hope. Jesus is our pursuit. He alone is our only desire. What a day that will be when we meet Him in the air. Death has lost its sting because we have received victory over death through the blood of Jesus.

Let our lives be increasingly filled with praise and worship. He enables us to walk in divine health - spirit, soul and body. So, we can be a witness wherever we go. Maranatha, Praise God and Amen.
