The Excellent Way
Are you burdened with the cares of this life? Family, work, future, etc.? Jesus says, come and lay it all at His feet and take His light burden (Matthew 11:29,30).
HOW TO LAY IT AT HIS FEET?
In prayer, Ask for mercy. Seek for grace. Keep knocking patiently in daily prayers, by faith, till He opens you to a new way to approach the world.
WHAT'S THE NEW WAY?
It's the most excellent way of love (1 Corinthians 12:31; 13:1-8).
The new way of love is the light burden that Jesus gives you after you place all your requests at His feet by faith.
Love produces OBEDIENCE that is full of peace, joy and hope. You grow in wisdom and knowledge and receive understanding. An obedient love hosts the fruit of the Spirit in their heart.
HOW TO LOVE consistently?
Consider these three practical ways to walk diligently in the new way.
LEARN humility and lowliness of heart from Jesus (Matthew 11:29). When we empty ourselves to get filled with the character of Christ, we give room for God's blessings to manifest freely.
FOLLOW Jesus, the best example (1 Peter 2:21). When we follow Jesus, we walk in peace and holiness. We seek the best for everyone we meet on the way to eternal life.
LOOK at Jesus only (Hebrews 12:2). When we look at Jesus, we remind ourselves of the 'Why' - Why do we exist?
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, you were created to be loved and to love. Your burdens need to be light. The one that Jesus gives. Reject the pride of this life and live for the eternity God has called you into.
