His presence is full of peace

“My brother needed heart surgery. We took him to a hospital in another city for the surgery. During the days of surgery, we met a Spirit-filled woman who encouraged us to join them in prayer for my brother. We would go for their meetings regularly. The lady would share the gospel with my brother in the hospital too. My mother and my ailing brother accepted Jesus. Shortly thereafter, my brother passed away. Yet, my mother grew stronger in the faith.

I was still sceptical about the Christian faith. Then I got married at an early age, moved to the Middle East with my husband. Our marriage started to break up over time. I started to seek God. He entered my life in more ways than I can express. I began to feel his powerful presence as I went through the ordeal of a broken marriage.

Eventually I returned to my native, my mother had gotten bedridden. My husband and son left me and moved to another city. My son blackmails me for money off and on. I remained at my native with a mentally disturbed mother who often hit me as I served her. My father, a drunkard, lived in another house my parents owned. He would often drop in and get violent in his drunken stupor. I’ve had to run out of the house and find shelter till he cooled down.

His presence keeps me in perfect peace

I love Jesus, He’s been my everything in the middle of all the chaos. I’m growing in my love for Him through the path of sufferings laid before me. I know He will make it all right in His time. While I struggle alone, I have the company of apostolic sisters who often visit me and my mother. They pray for us and I’ve newly joined an online audio-only fellowship where I get to hear the word of God. God is good. Praise the Lord.”
