Pure As A Virgin

Jesus isn't going to marry an old woman. He will marry a young virgin. Jesus will greatly desire the virgin. She will be without a spot or wrinkle. She will be wise, pure and holy. Her heart will be full of love for Jesus—an overflowing, everlasting love for Christ.

Anyone who believes in Jesus can become this virgin. How is your desire for Jesus today? Do you love Him better every day? Are you abiding close by His side?

A young girl fell in love with a celebrity. She desired him so much that it became her life's mission to marry him. She kept talking about him day and night. One day, a man told her that he was going to Hollywood and could get her to meet the one she loved. She agreed and eventually got sold into a brothel to be raped and beaten daily for years. She was rescued years later to tell her tale of obsession with the one she loved.

The love for Jesus isn't a foolish endeavour but one full of peace, hope and joy. But similar to the young girl's obsession, the virgin-to-be bride of Christ lives a similar life daily. Like the girl who loved the celebrity but got lost in the way, we too can get distracted in our journey to Jesus if we do not walk wisely. We meditate on GOD's word day and night to get to know Jesus more. We tell others about His love for us.

Yes, it's the other way around because Jesus is pursuing you today, dear believer.

The day of Christ is here. Get ready to meet Jesus. Wait earnestly in prayer and meditation and fellowship to overcome the false promises of love and abundance the devil brings.

Be the virgin God has called you to be.

Maranatha, Praise God, and Amen.
