Jesus Is The Tree Of Life

Why did man sin? Why was the Tree of life a highly restricted area in the garden? 

Man sinned because he could not control his curiosity to know more than what he needed to know. He got craftily led into disobeying God's word and sin. Daily in the cool of the day, he spent quality time with the Father to receive enough knowledge for each day. Instead, he was hasty to know, leaving him spiralling into a world seeking knowledge without rest.

He wanted more knowledge, to be like gods. We see technologists and their pursuit of advanced artificial intelligence making them feel like gods. We recently heard about Elon Musk, Steve Wozniak and 1000 other technologists asking for a 6-month ban on ChatGPT 4 technology.

Sinful man cannot access eternal life without the Father drawing him to Jesus. 

JESUS IS THE TREE OF ETERNAL LIFE

Peter and the 12 disciples recognized Jesus as the one with the words of eternal life. Today, whoever accepts Jesus as Lord and Savior have access to eternal life. 

The Psalmist writes how all the disciples are like trees by the waterside. A tree by the waterside is always fresh and fruitful in season. 

Dear believer, you are the Tree of life for those around you, requiring peace and rest. Let the living water nourish the seed of the living word of God in your heart so you can edify, encourage and comfort those in need.
