Jesus at the centre keeps the trust

God created man so he can always trust in Him. Adam knew, and so did Eve. Yet, both got too caught up in their relationships. Eve ended up trusting Satan, and Adam believed Eve. 

Adam had a healthy relationship with Eve because there was no reason to mistrust her. 

Eve felt comfortable talking to Satan because who he was, was not revealed yet. Satan appeared as a serpent. God had already given man authority over all creation. 

What went wrong? Why did the trust break?

Adam and Eve got too invested in their relationships by taking matters into their own hands when they ignored the word of God.

Let Christ be the centre of your trust

Today, trust can be established between men only when Christ is at the centre of the relationship. 

What does it mean to have Christ at the centre? The word of God is the only way to live life. God's word guides us in four ways - Doctrine, Correction, Reproof, and Instruction in righteousness. 

Love God, and His word will be natural for you. Obedience to God's word should not be something you need to try hard to do. 

Trust God. Always trust God for all things. When we trust God in our relationships, He will protect us and give us the wisdom to guide others.
