I Did Not Know This About Christian Life
Your life is on display for the world to see, dear believer (1 Corinthians 2:9). You may think it isn't, but the Word of God is clear about who we are as born-again believers.
There are two ways our life is a display to the world.
Firstly, we are a wonder. Here are three ways how;
You are the light of the world (Matthew 5:14)
You are the city on a hill
You are a sweet fragrance (2 Corinthians 2:15)
Secondly, we are scum or garbage (1 Corinthians 2:13). Our decisions don't always match up with what the world expects. It triggers them into hating or doing evil against us. We suffer for Christ's sake and are seen as fools.
Many believers lost their friends because they did not take the needle. We were hated and ridiculed. Years later, the truth was out, and people realised our decision was right.
God has His ways to present us. We don't need to plan for the future. He prepares us for His glory. We don't deserve to be used for His glory. We know what we are! Yet, God chose us to reveal Himself.
Trust in Him, and soon, we'll be with Jesus forever.
