How To Stay Happy As A Believer?
No one can be as happy as a believer. Yet, we find so many believers are unhappy in their lives. God loves a cheerful giver does not apply only to tithes and offerings. It applies to every way we give, mainly our time.
One key reason why believers are unhappy is because they forget they are the temple of God.
To be happy as a believer give room for the power of the Holy Spirit
Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? (1 Corinthians 3:16)
God dwelt among us in the tabernacle during the Old Testament. The tabernacle was a place of rejoicing and salvation because people came to be sanctified and set free from their past deeds and mindset’s.
The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the Lord doeth valiantly. (Psalms 118:15)
As the temple of the most High God, is our heart filled with a greater rejoicing? Fullness of joy? The joy of salvation? Are we joyfully resting in the hope of His coming?
There is joy, and the joy that comes with filling in the Holy Spirit.
And the disciples were filled with joy, and with the Holy Ghost. (Acts 13:52)
The enjoyment of this world is temporary and unsatisfactory. It leaves us longing for more at the same time draining our spiritual health. We cannot ignore what God has already given us in Christ Jesus. Power, love and a sound mind to overcome the trials and temptations that come our way, everyday.
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7)
In these last days, a great revival is in progress. Many are seeking and finding Christ, but the love of many old believers are waxing cold. Prepare for the day of Christ, a little more time and we'll be Jesus forever. Maranatha, Praise God and Amen.
