7 Blessings Of Being Spirit Filled (Part-2)

In order to enter the kingdom of God, the third most important step after Salvation experience and taking Water Baptism is, receiving the Anointing of the Holy Spirit. Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. John‬ ‭3:5‬

The Holy Spirit is the Comforter about whom Jesus mentioned to His disciples, before His ascension. John 14:16,26. The disciples had to wait/tarry in the city of Jerusalem, and on the day of Pentecost they were endued with Power from on high. Luke 24:49, Acts 2:1-4. It is a whole new experience of being filled with the unction of the Holy Spirit, the sign being - speaking in unknown tongues. God’s love through the Anointing is poured into our hearts, filling us with joy unspeakable into our every part!!

Blessings of being filled by the Spirit:

4. When we are filled with the Spirit of God, we are filled with JOY - This joy is not for a little time only, rather it continues overflowing the more we get filled in the Anointing. And the disciples were filled with joy, and with the Holy Ghost. Acts‬ ‭13:52‬

During the times of troubles and afflictions, the Word of God also comforts us with the joy of the Holy Ghost. 1 Thessalonians 1:6.

5. When we are filled with the Holy Spirit, we are filled with boldness - The disciples spoke the Word of God with great confidence and boldness after being anointed by the Spirit of God. Acts 4:31.

6. When we are filled with the Holy Spirit, we are able to discern and redeem the time ahead - St.Paul exhorts the Ephesians church to redeem the time because the days are evil. Ephesians 5:16-18. Only through the Spirit of God can we discern of what is coming ahead of us.

Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Ephesians‬ ‭5:16-18‬

7. When we are Spirit baptised, we can be raised from the dead - The Father raised up Jesus from the dead, through the Spirit of God and made Him to sit at His right hand.

But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. Romans‬ ‭8:11‬

Be blessed 💕
