How To Rend Your Heart Not Rent Your Heart?
What does it mean to rend your heart? It means to cry out to God, wholeheartedly. Not half heartedly. How to rend your heart? Like a child who misses his mother. Like, you need something so badly you would do anything to get it.
- If you've not received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, rend your heart.
- Do you truly want to overcome your secret sins? rend your heart.
- If you feel you are in a backslidden state, cry your heart out.
- If you know there are things in your life that go against God's word, cry out.
The future will get even worse for children and women. We are already witnessing this truth unfold before us. Cry for women and children - specially in the church.
“But Jesus turning unto them said, Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children.” (Luke 23:28)
Millions of women and children are being trafficked every year. Digital platforms are consuming valuable time. Teens and youth are badly affected by all the manipulation and fake content online.
Rend your heart
If we do not rend our heart. We will end up renting out our heart.
What does it mean to rent out our heart? Giving room for the world and selfish natures that give access to satan and his minions. Sin is increasing, Love is waxing cold. The lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and the pride of this life is constantly attacking to overcome believers. The battleground has shifted. Satan is using every device possible to access minds and hearts. It's not too late to turn to God as you examine your life.
Tear your heart in crying, to receive and fill in the power of His love through the Holy Spirit.
The day is near when we will meet Him in the air. Maranatha, Praise God and Amen.
