How To Recognise The Ungodly Believers Among Us?

Who are the ungodly believers? We were once ungodly. Christ rescued us. These ungodly natures continue to attack us.

Believers who keep forgetting they've given their life to the Lord, and have turned their belief into idol worship stay ungodly. The idols being their own selves. Stuck in their backsliding, they switch character based on their circumstances.

The Israelites that stayed unfaithful were destroyed, despite being rescued from Egypt. They had no love for God, despite the great wonders He showed them. I often wonder how hard would. their hearts have been to see great mighty wonders and miracles right before their eyes, and still rejecting the God of love!

What acts do the ungodly believers display?

1. Digging up evil against others (Proverbs 16:27).
2. Secret conspirers and schemers (Proverbs 64:2)
3. Immoral and unprincipled (2 Peter 2:7)
4. Lovers of money (Psalms 73:12)
5. Mockers(Jude 1:18)
6. Turn grace of God into lasciviousness (Jude 1:4)
7. Scorn judgement (Proverbs 19:28)

Some believers are still stuck in this state. When corrected or rebuked they end up going against their own brethren. These are deadly natures to allow again after having accepted Jesus. None of these natures should be found in us. A heart that is guarded in Christ will not easily give in to these natures. The temptation is real, but so is the power to overcome these temptations.

These evil natures eat us away from the inside, seek God's fiery anointing that can burn away all evil natures and fill you with His great love.

Be warned. Walk in fear and trembling before the loving almighty Father.

Our time on earth is short, redeem the time. The day of Christ is near. Give up everything for the glory of God (1 Corinthians 7:29). Maranatha, Praise God and Amen.
