How To Receive The Power To Overcome Hate?
Hate is the launch pad for murder. The spirit of hate needs a reason to enter your heart. Hate is a spirit desirous of entering a human body. Like all spirits, it needs a dwelling place.
An evil spirits favourite place is the human heart.
Why? It has only one motive, to destroy the very creation of God. Its aim is, to devalue the power of the blood of Jesus.
Are you jealous of another’s blessing?
Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing. He decided to kill Jacob after their father passed away.
So Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing with which his father blessed him... Esau said in his heart, “The days of mourning for my father are very near; then I will kill my brother Jacob.”
"Esau said in his heart", the scripture reveals. The heart is easily deceived, if not guarded.
The only power to overcome hate is the matchless love of Jesus
Jesus called us to love all. Jesus died on the cross and rose again the third day so we receive the power to love all. Every human being is created with purpose. Every believer has access to God's love and blessings. God calling us special isn’t the same thing as another human calling us special.
After a believer receives Jesus as Lord and Saviour, ever child asks for the baptism of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit sheds love in the hearts of every believer who comes to God's holy presence in all sincerity.
The Holy Spirit is a Comforter and Teacher, among many things the Holy Spirit is for believers. He will comfort us and teach us the way of God's love. Remind us the words of Jesus so we can live victoriously over hateful spirits.
Fill your heart with God’s word. Be sanctified. Be holy. Receive the power to overcome hate. He will make all things new. Even a messed up heart. Maranatha, Praise God and amen!
