How To Know You Are Known By God?

How do you know God knows you?
Jesus said, He knows His sheep.

"I never knew you"

Don’t think His gifts you’ve received means He knows you. There will be a group of people who’ve prophesied, healed and done miracles in God’s name yet denied by God. Why? They did not do His will.

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? ... done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. (Matthew 7:21-23)

What does it take for us to know that God knows us?

Walking in His Word...

“But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.” ‭‭1 John‬ ‭2:5‬

What is the whole duty of man? To fear God and keep His word (Ecclesiastes 12:13). The love of God is perfected when we walk obediently, according to His Word. This helps us to see God working in and through us.

The Holy Spirit helps me know...

1 Corinthians 3:16 reminds us, we are the temple of the most High God. The Holy Spirit dwells in us - He makes Himself known in and through us. We have fellowship with God, and He with us.

The Holy Spirit enables us to walk in purity, without which no man can see God. The pure love of God fills our hearts (Romans 5:5), an experience that is personal and clearly evident for the believer.
