How To Be A Limited Edition Believer?

A limited edition (believer) is special, precious and desirable. Unique, loved, and specially cared for.
A limited addition is an extra, an afterthought, it’s not a necessity. Even though it may seem nice to have.

A limited edition believer, we are precious, desirable and a necessity for God. God loves us so much that He gave His only son, Jesus, to die for us on Calvary’s cross. If we weren’t precious in His sight, He wouldn’t have gone through all the trouble. In fact, it pleased Him to bruise His own son for us.

Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand. (Isaiah 53:10)

Examples of a Limited Edition Believer

• The garden of Eden was a special place in all the earth, for God's special creation. A people for Himself, in a place specially created for communion with God.
• Noah and his family were a special people separated for God's glory.
• Israel was a special group of useless people God selected to glorify Himself.
• The 12 disciples, the little flock, were special to Jesus. The Power of the Holy Spirit transformed their lives as they became the first apostles of the New Testament church.
• The New Testament believers are a special lot, born of God, Water baptised, Spirit baptised, set for eternity.

What is eternal, is limited edition on earth. In Christ, we are eternal, making this life a launchpad for eternity.

What is temporal is an addition for a limited time. This world and all its delights are for a little while only. It's perishable, mostly wasteful for believers in this journey of life.
