God Calls Us By Name

God’s Love is a powerful force in the heart of those who have tasted Him.When Jesus first spoke to Mary Magdalene, fresh after resurrection, she did not recognise him. She thought Jesus was a gardener. The very next moment when Jesus said, “Mary”, she recognised the voice of her Master, Her Saviour, Her Love.Jesus was intimate with all his followers. He had called them by name. They knew when they heard it. They followed him wherever Jesus went, except the son of perdition. All those who were named as apostles, died for Jesus, because they lived a victorious life hearing their Masters voice.

“I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.” (John‬ ‭10:14‬)

God has called us by name, we belong to him (Isaiah 43:1).

“But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.” (Isaiah‬ ‭43:1‬)

Prophet Samuel was called by name, but he had not been personally introduced to God. The day He learnt to recognise God's voice, his life changed. He lived to be a major prophet of the Almighty God.Seek Jesus, He alone is the Truth. He will come to you and call you by name. How beautiful it will be to hear your name in the Saviours lips.“Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away. Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master.” (John 20:15-16)
