Focus On Your Calling, Not Your Falling
Many Christians live in the fear of failing, or falling. Some reasons that cause fear in us;1. Lying manipulative leaders2. Problems seem too big3. Lack of faith or abilityWhether you are a leader or believer, focus on your calling. Not your falling. If you stay focused on your fears you will fall. For e.g. After a season of good worship and ministering in church when we meet lying leaders, who bleed the flock, rather than feed the flock, we sometimes fear to face them. Fear of going against the servant of God enters our hearts. This manipulation is rampant in churches today where leaders misuse their privileges and twist your stand for the Word of God and frame you for going against leaders.Sometimes, we go through situations in life where our problems seem too big for us to even comprehend. We cannot see any rescue from it. For e.g. It could be a relationship that you have entered and feel trapped in it. You want to get out, but can't seem to find clarity as you are overwhelmed by emotion. It could also be a lack of ability or even faith to get a certain job done. Be it in church or at the workplace.Instead, if you focus on Jesus, put your trust in him, and lean on him in prayer and praises, He will give you more than you ask or think. Are you saved? If you have tasted Jesus then you know He is good. He has called you with a high calling.
I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:14)
Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus; (Hebrews 3:1)
When we set our affections on things above and not on the things of the earth, we are able to view our situations or problems from the eyes of God. Through the lens of His Word to gain our strength and refuge. How to face a lying manipulative leader? Humble yourself in the sight of God, He will lift you up in due time. Trust in God to answer for you. Place your view lovingly, speak the truth in love. Whether they get offended or not, be Jesus in their life. God's Word encourages us to stay away from those who create divisions, but pray for them diligently. God will not only save you, but them too.How to face your problems which seem so overwhelming? Believe and receive strength. Rely on the promises of God in the Word of God. Seek God in prayers and meditation of His Holy Word. Be diligent in your fellowships. God will divide your Red Seas, and drop the Walls of Jericho in your life. How to face your giants when you feel inadequate? Give room for the Holy Spirit to manifest as He leads you through new ways and does a new thing in your life. Learn to rest in the anointing that breaks every yoke of bondage in life. It's easy to be distracted from our calling today than ever before. Our lives are getting busier just trying to make ends meet. Despite these trials in our lives when we learn to trust God in all things will He see us through. Unless we do not seek His kingdom and His righteousness, we will not be able to enjoy His peace and joy in our lives.
