Bare your heart to Jesus
People bare their hearts online, hoping and believing someone will say something nice and uplift them.
Many seek validation, approval, fame and recognition. Many share their feelings and desires, and successes and victimise themselves. Some share their uncut philosophies, problems, etc. to connect emotionally and mentally.
Social media isn’t the place for personal display. It’s a business platform, designed to connect, and monetize the masses so companies can profit. Profiteers need us hooked so that we become their fodder and source of wealth.
“The Chaldeans bring all of them up with a hook, And drag them away with a net, … through these things their catch is large and they live luxuriously, And their food is plentiful.”
Habakkuk 1:15-16
Bare your heart to Jesus to protect your life online
The problem begins when believers start giving in to the pressures of the media. Every evil nature get's easily triggered online. The attack on our minds and hearts is undeniable. The spiritual battle is at the worst level.
What is in your heart? If it’s not Christ, you will get lost in the trap of social media. If you aren’t guarding your heart and using the medium it will begin to consume you internally. While there is much good one can do, the bad can go out of control.
“Keep thy heart with all diligence; For out of it are the issues of life.”
Proverbs 4:23
Jesus was full of Word and power. He walked in authority like no other. We have been freely given the grace to walk like Jesus. Now is the time to dive into God’s word and bear fruit for His glory. Bare your heart to Him so He can transform you. Let the word of Christ dwell richly in you.
Be an example and let Christ overflow. Maranatha, praise God and Amen!
