Are You Witnessing Jesus?
Jesus set the expectations for every New Testament believer before He left in Acts 1:8.
Jesus said, be a witness by the power of the Holy Spirit everywhere.
WHAT ARE WE TO WITNESS BY THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT?
The 'love of the Father' who is Jesus Christ.
We need to witness or tell others what we know about Jesus.
WHAT ABOUT JESUS?
The name of Jesus (Acts 4:12-32)
Christ crucified and resurrected (1 Corinthians 2:2)
Whatever Jesus told you personally (Bible)
The name of Jesus saves, heals, delivers, etc. We ask in the name of Jesus in prayer, and God answers. Salvation is found only in the name of Jesus. Jesus is the name above all names.
Paul had much knowledge. But he restricted his delivery to what was most important. Paul did not use human effort or thinking to bring the truth to the world around him. He kept to the core truth with conviction - The gospel of Christ.
What is Bible reading/study? It is God speaking to you. Witness to the world what Jesus is telling you personally through the Bible. Where to start? The book of John.
Make a decision today to live for Jesus. Across the world, people are losing hope because they do not know the God of hope (Romans 15:13). When you don't have God's hope there will be no joy or peace in your heart. Without joy and peace in us, we will eventually burn out.
Turn to Jesus and tell everyone about Jesus.
