7 types of blessings reserved for people who seek the Lord daily! [1/2]

There are 7 types of blessings the Lord has reserved for all those who seek Him daily. In fact, He is pleased with everyone who is intentional in their search for God, and also having Him as a part of their lives. So then, let’s take a look into what these blessings are:

They will never lack

The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing. Psalms‬ ‭34:10‬. This psalm was written by king David, the same person who also wrote - The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want. Psalm 23:1. Very early on in life, he had realised that all those who sought the Lord, will never want/lack any good thing.

And so, throughout his own life as well, David kept seeking the Lord day after day. A specific example about him would be — before venturing out to a battle, David would definitely make it a point to ask God and His counsel. If the Lord asked him to go, he would; if not, he would refrain. He noticed that by doing so, he never lacked any good thing!! 🙌

They will live

For thus saith the Lord unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live: Amos‬ ‭5:4‬. The house of Israel refers to God’s own people, the believers. In order to live and be found in the land of the living, believers must seek the Lord. God’s word is loud and clear to everyone who is willing to obey. Our lives are in His hands, and so, in order to live, let’s continue to seek Him. 😇

However, those who don’t seek God, to them His word is — Seek the LORD [search diligently for Him and long for Him as your most essential need] so that you may live, Or He will rush down like a [devouring] fire, O house of Joseph, And there will be no one to quench the flame for [idolatrous] Bethel, Amos‬ ‭5:6‬.

They are meek

When we seek the Lord, He will teach us His meekness. Jesus Himself is meek and lowly in heart. Mathew 11:29. Words of Zephaniah the prophet — Seek ye the Lord, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the Lord's anger. Zephaniah‬ ‭2:3‬.

Meekness is a character strait that is gradually fading away, even among believers. However, to possess and preserve meekness in our day to day lives, all we need to do is to seek the Lord diligently and regard Him as the foremost necessity of our lives.
