Be full of the Holy Spirit

Jesus walked full of the Word and Power. The Holy Spirit is the power that resides in every Spirit-baptised believer. What does it mean to be full of the Holy Spirit? What can you expect from those who are full of the Holy Spirit?

Three outcomes in all who experience the fullness of the Holy Spirit.

Three natures of those who are full of the Holy Spirit:

  1. Testify the glory of God (Acts 4:8)
  2. Overcome trial (Luke 4:1-13)
  3. Live by faith (Acts 6:5,8)

Five Thousand received Christ believing in the gospel preached by Peter. The Jews and non-believers were astounded by the transformation in people. While they questioned the events, Peter testified how wonderfully Jesus was changing lives forever.

"Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel..."

Acts 4:8

The Holy Spirit led Jesus into a wilderness to be tested by Satan. Jesus was full of the Spirit. Jesus came out victorious. We can come out victorious when we walk in obedience. An obedient walk draws the power of the Holy Spirit, filling us to overcome trials in times of need.

Every believer saved by grace lives through faith. We live by faith. Stephen was a young man full of the Holy Spirit who served the church and walked in faith and power. Not everyone can serve in the many ministries in the church. Be Spirit-baptised to protect yourself from the many lies and attacks coming against you during your service.

"And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people."

Acts 6:8

Our time is short. The kingdom of God is at hand. All those who are ready will fly. Prepare yourself by yielding to the work of the Holy Spirit in and through your lives. Maranatha, Praise God and Amen.
