What are you designed for? Everything that has been created was designed with purpose. The sun, moon, stars, planets, etc. were all designed for a purpose. To glorify God.

All the earth shall worship thee, and shall sing unto thee; they shall sing to thy name. Selah. (Psalms 66:4)

We were created to praise The Loving Heavenly Father.

O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker. (Psalms 95:6)

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light; (1 Peter 2:9)

As a believer, how do you understand God’s desire for us to glorify Him? If we do not understand what glorifying God means then we will live pitiful Christian lives.

God is the epitome of all purity, perfection, holiness, love and humility. God created us in a way where praising Him is the only way to receive true holiness, peace, hope and joy.

worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth. (Psalms 96:9)

Praising God is not something we simply do; it’s who we are.

When a person plays a guitar, the music composition and song lyrics, his creation, helps us enjoy with him too. His style of music and song defines him as a musician. While the musician plays, everyone’s pure attention is drawn to him. While this is what we see in the world; in worship it’s always about God’s glory. Not any person. Many believers are stuck in the world’s form of praise.

Designed to praise God forever

We are called to pray day and night, without ceasing. Praising and Praying day and night reveals our very existence. We are God’s music to the world around us. The light of the world. The fragrance and fruit that others need to cherish for the glory of God.

It’s time to break free from a religious and a chained understanding of God’s praise. Let everything we think, say and do be for the glory of God. Jesus is coming soon; praise God and amen!
