The power of resurrection is the reason Christians exist!

An anti-christian persecuted believers for a long time. He got them all stoned to death or killed them by the sword. He would plot and scheme and find ways to kill those who preached Christ. Saul would try to get them to speak out the more sensitive truths of the gospel to provoke the crowd; who would get angry and begin to attack the preacher. This was his lifestyle. He believed he was doing this for the Lord and following his traditions.

Paul, was Saul the persecutor before he became an apostle. He was among the best in his study of Judaism and top hunter of Christians (Galatians 1:13,14).

But Paul had met the risen Christ. It changed him forever. He became an apostle, a servant of God. The power of resurrection changed him to live for God in the right way.

The power of resurrection is working in you

It is impossible for any believer to deny Christ after believing that Jesus rose from the dead. We worship a living God. We have a lively hope (1 Peter 1:3) because of the resurrection, unlike the worldly whose hope is temporary and earthly.

Your life is not in vain when you live for the risen Christ. You will have the most exciting life when you walk with the living God, who loves to work in and through you.

What is expected from the believer?

He is expected to only believe. When we believe, we will see the glory of God manifesting daily in our lives. There is nothing we can do apart from surrender our lives to God. A life of surrender will bring out the fruit of God’s word in our lives.

The Holy Spirit that raised up Jesus from the dead is working in our lives everyday. Give Him room and be ready to fly. Maranatha, praise God and amen.
