How To Uphold Your Appointment?

Every appointment has an anointing because you are called by God. Be it Pastor, SS Teacher, father, mother, husband, wife, etc. It’s never about the person but about the calling and the anointing that’s given by God.

The day we start getting casual about it, we relegate our life to a fleshly lifestyle. We end up seeking natural/fleshly experiences rather than God’s Word.

Appointment fulfils God's Word

For e.g. if you think people or situations in your life change you, then you’ve placed your confidence on experiences rather than the word of God. If God’s word is not the basis of your transformation then you will be stuck with a fleshly mindset. You will be a religious person. Most people live a religious lifestyle and don’t know it.

Spiritual discernment is necessary

What is spiritual cannot be discerned naturally (1 Corinthians 2:13). It is the basic premise of our lifestyle as believers. Sadly many don’t understand what this means despite years of “knowing Christ”.

Born in a Christian Family does not cut it

The natural tendency for all humans is to take everything for granted in life, including God. That is the nature of dust, flesh. Specially those who have had encounters with God at an early age.

Adam was deceived because he took God’s word for granted. He disobeyed God by indulging Eve. He did not realise Eve’s word had taken precedence over God’s word till he sinned. So do others who do not wait upon the Lord, but prefer to depend on those close to them.

Appointment Requires Anointing

Reclaim your life by personal study of the Bible and prayer life with anointing. Stop living off crumbs when God has called you to sit at the table. How much time do you personally give to God everyday? Don’t be deceived, God is not mocked, what you sow, you will reap.

We are in the last days, every single person is being tested. Examine your life and be ready for His coming. Praise God and Amen!
