How To Pray Earnestly? Part -2

Hello friends and Happy Friday!!🥰

I was sharing with you on the topic Earnest Prayers and how we should be focusing on praying earnestly these days.

We know PRAYER BRINGS VICTORY. All those who prayed sincerely, were also blessed with immediate answers as well.

Well, there are some more aspects of Earnest Prayers. Let’s see what they are:

6. Psalms 66:18 - If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me: —- Iniquity means doing wickedly. By harbouring wickedness and evil doings in our thoughts, if we pray, that prayer won’t be heard at all.

7. Psalms 45:6 - Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre —- The throne of God is the Throne of Grace (Hebrews 4:16). Before approaching the king, Esther made sure her deeds were right. If your deeds have gone wrong, go boldly to the Throne of Grace and confess them. God will answer you.

8. Earnest Prayers can be made only when we spend alone time with God. In Genesis 32:22-26, Jacob is seen striving alone with the Angel of God, for an answer. It would not have been possible had his wives and kids been around with him. Luke 5:16 - Jesus also withdrew Himself from the crowd and prayed all night.

9. Exodus 32:32 - Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin―; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written. This verse depicts the prayer of Moses — he was ready to sacrifice himself for the people. A person praying earnestly will pledge himself before God for others salvation. Psalms 123:1-3 mentions of someone looking to God for mercy and not leaving until it’s got.

Let not our prayers be out of feigned lips but rather out of unfeigned lips. Let us wear the breastplate of righteousness (a defensive weapon) and pray truthfully from our hearts. God wants us to be Earnest not Emotional Christians.

May the Lord help us.

Be blessed 💕
