How much time do you have?

How busy are you? Isn't there always too much to do these days? Or is it because technology has improved productivity, giving us time to do other things now. So, we indulge in new hobbies and pursuits that have nothing to do with the truth?Time is money for those who love money.Time is Jesus for those who love Jesus.If your life is ruled by money, you will not have time for Jesus. If we keep these three key verses in mind, we can make the best use of our time to be carried away when He comes.

REDEEM THE TIME: Let your lifestyle glorify God!

“Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” Ephesians‬ ‭5:16‬ ‭We are living in terrible times. I can't imagine it getting any better. Neither do I think on those lines anymore because the Bible has already predicted these times. Increasing sin is destroying hearts and minds to indulge in more worldliness and carnality. People are more suicidal today than ever before. Cases of depression and other mental disorders are on the rise.How to redeem time? Invest your life in reaching out to the lost. Romans 12:5-8 gives us a clear picture of how to spend our time - “For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching; Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.” Romans‬ ‭12:4, 6-8‬ ‭

BE A PRAYER WARRIOR

Jesus reminds us the need to watch and pray diligently because our spirits are weak. The apostles and followers all prayed daily, every evening, sanctifying themselves in Spirit, and the precious blood of Jesus.“Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” Matthew‬ ‭26:41‬ ‭Christians are in a spiritual warfare all the time. Trials and temptations are the norm. Guarding the heart and praying keeps us from temptation and overcoming trials.

NEED OF THE HOUR

“Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.” Matthew‬ ‭24:42‬The urgency of the hour is only known to Spirit baptised children of God. Why do I say that? ‭Only those who walk in the Spirit will be able to not just discern the times but also warn of daily attacks. God will not hide the truth from His children. All those who seek, find, for the glory of God.People lack revelation and keep failing. To stay on course, every hour, we need to give room for the Spirit of God in our lives. He is the waters of life we need to drink from to be free from temptation, walk in the will of God, according to His Word.Jesus is coming soon.
