Faith-life is a fight, a good fight. A fight that lays hold of eternal life. A lifestyle that daily confesses your state of being. It’s not a simple confession made when you started, it’s the war you’ve entered to overcome all evil forces attacking you since you believed in Jesus.

Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. (1 Timothy 6:12)

Faith-life is a Race

There is a course to finish, by faith, till the end (2 Timothy 4:7).

It’s a race, you are running against your former self. Your old man.

You aren’t competing with any other human. There are evil forces of darkness running behind to overtake you (Ephesians 6:12).

Look to Jesus the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).

Hold Your Faith In Purity

The race involves hurdles which will try to shipwreck your faith. Hold on to your faith with a good conscience. (1 Timothy 1:19)

Yes a pure conscience is necessary to hold onto the mystery of faith (1 Timothy 3:9). It’s a mystery to others, not you who have been saved and enlightened by Jesus.

Faith overcomes fear by the power of God’s perfect love to help us move forward. One day at a time, standing against the evil of each day. Leaning on God for the tomorrows of life. There is no one else to trust on the earth; even our loved ones have their limitations. Trusting that our future is in God’s hand, in fact, he has graven us in the palms of His hands. He cares and will bear us till the very end.

May God restore, revive, refresh, renew and refine us for His eternal glory. Jesus is coming soon. Praise God and Amen!
