Who Is Standing Against You Daily?

Knowing your enemy requires you to understand who or what you are standing against daily in your spiritual life. 

The activist spirit that's been rising, no thanks to woke culture, is pushing believers into deep confusion. Instead of privately standing in prayer and publicly standing for Jesus, Satan has flipped the narrative. Many are ignorant of the word and get emotionally triggered into believing lies. 

What Are You Standing Against Daily?

1. Stand against sin (Psalms 4:4). 

2. Against divisive spirits (Mark 3:25)

3. Stand against persecution (1 Corinthians 15:30)

4. Against worldliness (Proverbs 22:29)

5. Stand against the devil (Ephesians 6:11)

There is a way to stand against every evil. To begin, seek the humility of Christ. Give God the praise and thanks He deserves daily. Every spiritual fight requires us to move into the spiritual realm, i.e. praying in the presence of God. Your secret place with Him is the place of prayer. 

No believer can afford to take either of the above five points lightly. 

When do we fall to these wicked spiritual powers? When we step outside the presence of God. In the presence of God, we receive the direction for life that keeps us away from the devil. We receive a joy that the world cannot give. The pleasures in God's presence protect us from the pleasures of sin and worldliness.

We fall when we lack the necessary knowledge of the Word of God. God's word is the foundation for us to learn about our enemy. 

We fall when we give room for other spirits instead of the Holy Spirit. Our fight is not against flesh and blood but against the powers of darkness. Knowing the enemy is one thing, and standing against the enemy requires being filled with His love so that faith grows.
