Who Does God Listen To?
We know that God doesn’t listen to sinners. But he is ready to hear those who worship him and do his will. (John 9:31)
Who does God listen to?
4 aspects to consider;
God hears his worshippers, who do His will. Sincere devotion pleases God. Devoted believers always seek God's will. Their life is worship.
(Proverbs 15:29) God hears the prayer of the righteous. Righteous - blood-washed, water-baptised, Spirit-filled obedient Christians.
The prayer of the upright is a delight to God (Proverbs 15:8). Honest at heart. Nathanael, a man without guile - a true and upright Israelite.
Psalms 145:18) God is near those who call him in truth.
Our sacrifices need to be pleasing to God. Prayer is among the best sacrifices for all believers. A sincere prayer leads to presenting our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God.
God accepted the sacrifice of Abel (Hebrews 11:4). God was pleased with his sacrifice because it was excellent - out of love.
Never stop praying. (2 Chronicles 7:15) God is attentive when His children gather in prayer.
(Psalms 65:2) All flesh comes to God who hears prayers. Let's commit to praying and building our intimacy with God.
Maranatha, Praise God, and Amen.
