What’s in a Kiss?
In Luke 7:38 we see a woman kissing the feet of Jesus. Not only was she kissing, but she was also washing His feet with tears and wiping them with her hair.Obviously, the woman knew what she was doing. She loved Jesus and was often found at His feet listening to His words. She broke the "alabaster box of ointment". Breaking the box refers to breaking our hearts in God's presence. Her sins which were many were forgiven!!KISSING IS SPECIAL!!2 Corinthians 13:12 - Greet one another with an holy kiss.1 Thessalonians 5:26 - Greet all the brethren with an holy kiss.1 Peter 5:14 - Greet ye one another with a kiss of love. Peace be with you all that are in Christ Jesus. Amen. The above are a few verses to reiterate the significance of Kissing, specifically for believers. It is an act that involves the spirit, soul and body. Its actual importance and specialness comes only from a deeper understanding in the soul fed by God during birth itself.Everyone knows that a kiss is special. But, not everyone realises it is meant only for believers. It is a loving and holy action, meant only for family. For the family in Christ.Be blessed!
