Together As One

Experts are saying there is a loneliness epidemic. Teens are spending their time on phones without having real conversations. The adults are too busy working hard to pay bills, etc.

All the technological advancement hasn't helped connect people to overcome loneliness. The issue blew up during the pandemic. And for most, it seems, they've become used to staying at home.

John says I will not write with pen and ink but come over to share face-to-face so that our joy may be full.

There is a completeness of joy when we meet face to face. When we write to, or call each other, there are times we feel it would have been best if we met.

Paul often expresses the joy of meeting each other. Both John and Paul agree that the greater joy is hearing everyone walk in the truth.

The New Testament ministry exploded because of coming together in one accord. The power of fellowship is best established when we come together to worship God in Spirit and truth.

HOW DO BELIEVERS OVERCOME LONELINESS?

The power of God's love will overcome loneliness.

King David loved the presence of God.

The bride of Christ desires only one person, Jesus. Does that mean we stay alone? No.

We enjoy time alone with God and also come together as members of the body of Christ.

Behold how good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! There's no room for loneliness in a lifestyle of praise and worship to Jesus.

Go to church, encourage and comfort one another about the coming of the Lord.

Maranatha, praise God, and amen.
