Public Display Of Affection
Public displays of affection were never welcome in a normal society. Today, it's an open show.
In some cultures, PDA is considered a sign of disrespect for elders and other members of the community. Some religions view PDA as a form of immodesty. In some countries, PDA is illegal. Couples can be arrested and fined for kissing or hugging in public. Some people simply do not like to see PDAs regardless of cultural or religious norms. They may find it to be uncomfortable, distracting, or even offensive.
What makes a person want to kiss or do more in public? There's an overflow of "love" that happens at the moment. But when you start taking pictures and displaying them online, it's no more personal but a feeding of their insecurity. The desperate need to show others for various (ungodly) reasons.
While worldly notions and perspectives keep changing with the times and shifting cultures, the godly live consistently with decency and decorum.
At least, that's the expectation from those who believe.
In Christ, we have higher standards that we have been privy to since childhood. For the godly, this isn't even a topic. At least it wasn't for up to a few years back. But now, it's getting worse.
As sin increases in the world and love decreases among the fellowship, young people compare their foolishness with that of the world, and FEEL they are fine. That nothing is wrong with what they've done.
Over time, the evil gets passed down from one generation to another.
We are in the last days, and evil is abounding. Only those who sincerely pursue God can get prepared for the rapture. The rest will enter tribulation. The choice is yours.
Choose the love of Christ, dear believer. There isn't much time. Maranatha, Praise God, and Amen.
