Prayer Is The Most Powerful Weapon
Do you realise you are in a battle 24/7? This battle is no ordinary one. It's a violent one that can impact your eternity with Jesus.
Matthew 11:12 KJV
And from the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven suffered violence, and the violent take it by force.
Spiritual warfare is a daily affair - Jesus set the example of a life of prayer and meditation.
Jesus did not pray because He had to pray. He prayed to glorify God and receive strength and peace for His daily battles.
When we go through trials, how do we need to "violently take back" what is ours? How do we take it by force? By the power of the precious blood of Jesus (Love), the overcoming Word of God (Peace), and the mighty anointing of the Holy Spirit (Joy).
Our battles are not against people. So, we must ensure we don't hurt others or find issues in their lives. Our fight is against spiritual wickedness.
THREE WAYS TO BE VIOLENT AND TAKE WHAT BELONGS TO YOU BY FORCE.
STRIVE FOR GOD
One must strive to enter the kingdom of God (Luke 13:24). It's a narrow path. Jesus Himself cried with strong tears (Hebrews 5:7). Paul sought a STRIVING IN PRAYERS (Romans 15:30). Prayer is the only tool we have and need to fight against wicked spiritual powers. RECLAIM YOUR OWN IN JESUS NAME. King David encouraged himself in the Lord in prayer during his time of great distress.
CONTEND FOR THE FAITH
Jude 3 reminds us to contend FOR THE FAITH. What does it mean? Fight the good fight of faith till the end. During trials, we must hold onto the faith we received through the apostolic doctrines and teachings. Faith alone helps us see and understand the quality of our trials. When we lose the vision, we end up going against people. Keep the faith!
DILIGENT
King Solomon reminds us to keep our hearts with all diligence (Proverbs 4:23). So, don't lose heart. Our heart needs constant care. The Spirit of God daily cares and reminds us of our state. When we get diligent about our walk with God, we can recognise prideful natures that try to ravage our souls. Joseph was diligent in the 20 years of struggle. Paul kept himself in subjection to stay faithful till the end.
Dear believer, He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Desire the love of God, and you will seek the best for others. Don't give room for negative thoughts as you go through your trials. God is faithful, and He will do it.
Maranatha, Praise God, and Amen.
