Praise God For Who He Is

God created us to show His praise (1 Peter 2:9). Most praise God because of what He has done. Praise needs to be an outcome of who He is!

Praise is the fruit of our lips (Hebrews 13:15). A fruit is an outcome of a seed sown. When the seed of God's Word gets nourished in your heart, your lips will bear His praises.

FIVE REASONS TO PRAISE GOD FOR WHO HE IS.

Praise Him because,

  1. of the beauty of His holiness (2 Chronicles 20:21)

  2. He is perfect (Psalms 50:2)

  3. He is love (1 John 4:16)

  4. His Word is truth (John 17:17)

  5. His Spirit of humility (Matthew 11:29)

How to praise Him?

  • Praise through singing (Psalms 68:25)

  • musical instruments (Psalms 150)

Reflect on the power of singing and playing instruments. King Jehoshaphat sent the singers first, and the army followed. A true worshipper is first in line before God.

We need to praise till the fire comes down (2 Chronicles 7:1-3) and turns ourselves into dust and ashes.

WHY PRAISE GOD?

  • Because of His lovingkindness (Psalms 63:3)

  • I'm fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalms 139:14)

  • everything on heaven and earth belongs to Him (1 Chronicles 29:14)

How are you spending your free time today? Give it to God, and let Him receive your praises.

Maranatha, Praise God, and Amen.
