Patience, please.
Health Doctors advise you to watch your heart, and eat the right food to avoid heart attacks. Mind doctors tell you not to stress in life to avoid a heart attack.
Watch what you see, hear, smell, taste and touch.
Whatever we do, Jesus tells us to watch and pray. James encourages us to be patient because the coming of the Lord is near.
We need to establish our hearts in patience. We cannot grumble against fellow brothers and sisters. (James 5:9) Jesus stands at the door to judge us if we keep complaining about fellow saints.
Patience like Job
We become examples of patience, like Job, when we trust God. Job lost everything. But he gained everything back despite enduring the negativity and complaints of his wife.
A patient heart will save us from becoming patients. Our reward is Jesus. He is our everything.
Job knew who he belonged to. He remained steadfast in trust. All who wait in Christ will never be ashamed.
Dear believer, let your heart be established by God's word and not the meat of this world. (Hebrews 13:9)
Guard your heart against evil sights, talk, and actions. Look at Jesus, hear His voice, and follow His actions.
Maranatha, Praise God, and Amen.
