Let God Build Your House
An evil heart is full of unbelief. It is bound in sin and full of darkness. It can never receive the light. It's like passing by someone you know but not recognizing them because your mind is elsewhere, and you fail to see them.
The Israelites saw wonders and miracles occurring before them, but they failed to believe in the presence of God. The years of physical bondage left them mentally and emotionally dry. While they wanted to be free and eventually got freed from captivity, they remained bound in their old thinking.
The Israelites went astray in their hearts and fell in the wilderness journey. Many failed to reach the promised land because of their unbelief. They provoked God and Moses along the way and got destroyed in their foolish and rebellious ways.
A rebellious heart is under captivity or led by the devil. Violent thoughts and wicked words take over despite mental knowledge of high doctrines or truth.
LET GOD BUILD YOUR HOUSE
God is the builder of our house. He can build us only if we hold fast to Him when we put our faith in God.
When you speak or do anything, do you do it to God? How are you fulfilling your role in your family, church, workplace, and wherever you go?
Let your words glorify God. May your life be a blessing to all around you. Walk in forgiveness, and hold fast to the faith. Jesus is coming soon.
Praise God, and Amen.
