How To NOT Get Numbed Into Submission?
If you are getting numbed in your walk of faith, then you will get dumbed down.
Do You Feel Numbed?
We are living in a time where believers are being numbed into submission. A submission to worldliness and people pleasing. To a new world order that isn't in line with the word of God.
The numbing has resulted in believers walking away from the faith, with a seared conscience.
Why are believers departing from the faith?
Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron (1 Timothy 4:1, 2)
If you give room to worldly issues in your heart, you end up believing lies and hypocrisy which sears the conscience. We can never have a complete understanding about worldly issues. Therefore we end up serving foolish causes that’s created to divide us internally and externally.
Basically, much ado about nothing!
When you give in to worldly causes more than what’s necessary for eternal life, you lose your very purpose of existence. The soul is left unfed, and the spirit is overwhelmed by passions to meet earthly, perishable goals. A lack of love diminishes faith and uproots understanding.
When you get busy in this life and miss out on God’s presence there comes a desperation to listen to any preaching. This is where false apostles and teachers get an advantage, seducing vulnerable believers into a false Christian lifestyle.
How To Sustain Your Spiritual Life?
Hold your faith by walking in holiness and purity. Your body is the temple of God, keep it holy. Walk honestly before all men.
To hold the mystery of faith, we need a pure conscience. (1 Timothy 3:9)
When you hold faith with a good conscience, God will work for you. Protecting you from false teachings and guiding your heart into deeper truths required to grow in Him.
Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck: (1 Timothy 1:19)
What we sow, we reap. Repent, turn to God. Walk in love. Jesus is coming soon, praise God and amen.
