How To Live Free?

One of the greatest failures of the left-behind church will be rejecting the beauty of the new family in Christ. Despite the doctrines and teachings of the apostolic faith, most believers choose to build a life outside of God's plan.

If only your earthly family matters to you, you will fail to be ready when Jesus comes. God is separating the wheat from the chaff in the last days. Those who do not leave all (Matthew 19:29) will be left behind.

Such, love their own families, language, land, etc. Their decisions for life ignore the needs of the house of God and His saints. If given a choice, they will take the side of their family, even if they are wrong, and not a fellow brother or sister.

How to leave all without compromising your relationship with those in your family and fellowship?

As you keep your daily obligations to your immediate earthly family, act on the Holy Spirit's leading when God needs you to do something. When Elijah gave his mantle to Elisha, Elisha wanted to say his final goodbyes to his father and mother. Elijah warned him not to let his earthly affections affect God's calling.

Three scriptures to live a free life

  1. Do not seek to know anyone in the flesh (2 Corinthians 5:16). What's there to know about anyone's life on earth? There is no point in knowing about one another's vanities under the sun. Rather, seek to encourage one another spiritually, in Christ, our eternal hope.

  2. Keep God and His word above every near and dear relationship you may have grown up with (Luke 14:26). Once you are born again, your family is the body of Christ. It does not mean you forsake the earthly but live without bias and grow with the family in Christ.

  3. Be like Jesus: Walking like Jesus is an outcome of following Jesus. There will be a transference of power that heals, delivers, and does good (Acts 10:38).

God knows who are His. Are you known by God? (‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭2:19‬). All who are known by God follow Jesus. They do not worry about the future nor avoid speaking the truth in their relationships.

God is for you, not against you. To know what that means, lean on His word by faith and let Him reveal His love for you. Leaving all may seem difficult. It isn't when you get closer to God. You will see how it's the best way to live life.

Get ready to leave the earth. Jesus is coming for His spotless and blameless bride.

Maranatha, Praise God, and Amen.
