Formal Education Isn't Necessary To Build Your Spiritual Life

Jesus never went to school, had no formal education. I thank God for that because of how the "educated" tend to behave. As if a manipulated education system would do any good to someone. If you have received formal education, good for you. Nothing wrong with that. But to think less of others is a testament of your true character. Christ is NOT in you.

The Jews were shocked when Jesus taught because he had never taken any kind of formal training (John 7:15-19).

This is quite baffling for most of the intellectual world. Where believers having studied hard and received high positions in this world often look down on others. Some do not believe these things happen today. What things? Unlearned and “ignorant” men speaking the word of God with power.

Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus. (Acts 4:13)

Peter and John too, never went to a formal school. Peter was a fisherman, yet spoke with boldness. How? by the power of the Holy Spirit.

The world is filled with such people. Believers speaking the word of God guided by the power of the Holy Spirit without formal training. Great signs and wonders follow them.

Godly Education Matters; Not Formal Education

The doctrine of God belongs to God, and those who are born of God will receive from God what is of God. There are many “Christians” among us who do not bother to read the Bible daily nor have the heart to pray sincerely for even 5 minutes. But they are found speaking much, offline and online. When sufferings come, buckle under pressure, and walk out of faith.

We don’t stand because we can, we stand because He holds us.

The worldly education means nothing to a believer, neither any position in this world. With the Holy Spirit as our teacher, when we believe, we will work the works of God. He blesses us with what’s necessary for us on earth to fulfil His perfect will.

We are called to be schooled by the power of the Holy Spirit. To edify, exhort and comfort those in a world full of misery and pain. Maranatha, Praise God and Amen.
