Faith Is The Evidence Of Your Spiritual Walk

Faith isn't faith without works. It's not simply an intellectual exercise. The faith of the Son of God produces action.

Faith is the evidence of things hoped for (Hebrews 11:1). So, faith is the evidence.

Is faith evident in your life? Paul heard about the faith and love of the churches (Colossians 1:4) (Ephesians 1:15).

How is faith made evident? Or what does it mean "faith with works"?

Your faith is evident when you wait on the Lord for (divine) healing. Wait on the Lord in praise, prayers, and fellowship. Trust in God to deliver on His promise to fulfil His perfect will in your life. The works refer to a lifestyle of worship in all you do.

Often people get weary because of trials and temptations in life. When times are good, they forget God. When times are bad, they don't have faith in God. Some put on a show of faith during good times, and a sudden trial befuddles them.

Good times or bad, we need to order our lives by practising our faith diligently.

Faith protects us from the fiery darts of the devil. What are these fiery darts? Discouraging words, false accusations, divisive talk, condemning spirits, lies spoken against you, sickness, etc., work against us daily. When people go against us, standing in the faith involves living out your trust and hope in God to fight your battles for you.

Joseph exercised faith by leaning on God and not fighting with his strength when he was used, misused, and abused for 20 years.

Daniel stood firm in the Lord despite being thrown into the lion's den by those whose lives he saved earlier.

Is your faith full of action? Are you moving forward by faith or backward in fear? Examine your life. Trust God, not man. Our time is near. Maranatha, Praise God, and Amen.
