Do you give God all the glory?

When I read about Moses, Daniel or even Paul. There is a powerful truth I often miss out on. I believe every Christian today, living in the age of knowledge explosion, needs to keep in mind.“And Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and was mighty in words and in deeds. And when he was full forty years old, it came into his heart to visit his brethren the children of Israel.” Acts 7:22-23Moses was a brilliant man. Yet, he was humbled first to lead Israel. His intelligence and skills were of no use to God. God brought him down to nothing in the 40 years he was with Jethro, his father in law.How was Daniel?“Children in whom was no blemish, but well favoured, and skilful in all wisdom, and cunning in knowledge, and understanding science, and such as had ability in them to stand in the king's palace, and whom they might teach the learning and the tongue of the Chaldeans.” Daniel 1:4Yet, what was he used for? His humble heart brought him favour from God. He was gifted by God to interpret the Kings dream.Paul, the apostle, was a rich, learned, Jew. He had power and money, and material blessings. Yet, after his encounter with Jesus, he was humbled and became a mighty apostle of God.God always exalts the humble and poor in spirit. Our earthly intelligence and wisdom is of no use to God. God exalts himself through all those who are willing to surrender all to Him. Just like Moses, Daniel, Paul and others. Its natural for us to feel elated when we accomplish anything in life. Man mostly looks for appreciation and recognition for the work he is doing. They often lead to bitter wars and ego clashes. This lust for credit is natural for an unsaved person. For the spiritual man, he gives all the glory to God alone.“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” Galatians‬ ‭2:20‬ ‭“But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:10‬ ‭Like Paul, let's give all the honour and glory to God alone.
