Ask According To God’s Will

Do you have the confidence that God hears your prayers

John writes that children of God are confident that God hears their prayers. (1 John 5:14)

Jesus says when you pray, believe you have received. In other words, have the confidence that God has answered your prayers. (Mark 11:24)

When can we have the confidence that God has heard us?

When we ask according to His will.

God did not create us to do our own will. He created us to be like Jesus. the best a human can be. God revealed Jesus to us so we can walk in His steps.

As believers, we need to align with God's thinking so our prayer requests align with God's desires concerning us.

Jesus enjoyed the pleasures of heaven before He came down to earth. He died on the cross according to God's will so we may join Him forever in that eternal bliss He enjoys today as the resurrected King of kings and Lord of lords. The resurrection power, the Holy Spirit, fires us up to live according to His will.

When we love God, we will know God's will and love God's ways. Our prayers will begin to be exactly what God wants from our lives. God created us according to His will. Does it make any sense for us to ask anything outside of His will in prayer? NO!

James reminds us that some prayers remain unanswered because they ask amiss. Why? Some believers ask worldly things for themselves that God hasn't desired for the calling they have.

Pray without ceasing. Grow in your calling.

Pray for every spiritual blessing to manifest through your life in Christ.

Jesus is coming soon.

Maranatha, Praise God, and Amen.
