7 Ways Satan Works Against Us! (Part-2)

The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. Psalms‬ ‭110:1

For all the evil and gloom the devil brings against us, God wants us to bring satan under our feet. There are 7 reasons in total as to how he works against us. You can find the first part of the sub-series here.

4. The devil is in the lookout to sift us like wheat. Luke 22:31,32. His sole aim is to make us fall from faith and depart from God. These last days, many are forsaking the truth and departing from God. Nonetheless Jesus, our Good Shepherd is still interceding on our behalf at the right hand of the Father so that our faith fails not and we don’t go away from Him.

5. He brings an unforgiving spirit in us - satan is a deceiver, he takes advantage and deceives us so that we don’t forgive others. He works subtly with wickedness so that we don’t reach our goal. The unforgiving spirit that is in satan, he brings in us so that we don’t forgive others. If we aren’t able to forgive someone, the devil instead of being under our feet he has taken advantage of us and is sitting on our head.

6. He is the accuser of the brethren - His work is to always accuse the brethren. He will make us to point fingers at others, blame others, and put fault on others. However, Jesus took all our sins and faults upon Himself even though we were sinners, and dies for us.

7. The work of Satan is to provoke - He will provoke those things God isn’t pleased with. He will provoke us to do self-will because he does not want us to do God’s will. He was kept to do God’s will in the place where God kept him, but he did his own will and fell.

By now we must have realised that in the past days we have fallen prey to the devices of the devil. Some way or the other we may have sinned against God by letting the work of the enemy in us. But we also need to realise how Jesus has been protecting us nevertheless! But one thing is needful of us - let’s humble ourselves and ask God for His mercy so that He brings us back to Him from the place we are fallen and help us continue in Him. May God help us!

Be blessed 💕
