7 KINDS OF HEARTS IN THE BIBLE

No one can overcome spiritual problems using human techniques. The sinful man is corrupt beyond imagination. Everything he does is for himself. Even the service rendered voluntarily for any cause is rooted in self.

Where is the problem? A corrupted heart.

7 KINDS OF HEARTS IN THE BIBLE

INNOCENT

The innocent heart is forever curious, wanders, and gets itself in harm's way. Dinah left the security of her home and family to check out the women in Shechem. Like Eve, she let her curiosity get the better of herself (2 Corinthians 11:2-4). Women continue to be the most affected because of social media.

SINFUL HEART OF WICKEDNESS

A wicked heart does not have God in all its thoughts. They are manipulative and full of schemes (Proverbs 6:18). It is boastful and covetous (Psalms 10:3). Saul preferred to do things his way. His constant rejection of God's word gave room for an evil spirit in him.

FOOLISH HEART

The Galatians preferred outward show over inner transformation. They saw Jesus crucified and received the Spirit but loved the fleshly lifestyle (Galatians 3:3). The Pharisees were deeply proud people who lived for their public image rather than reflect God's character.

DECEITFUL HEART

A deceived heart ends up in delusion. The state of most "developed" countries is an example of where people believe anything they feel. Stay in the presence of God (2 Thessalonians 2:1-17). Demas gave up God for the present evil world.

REPENTANT HEART

A repentant heart isn't one that only says or feels sorry. They go above and beyond by submitting their lives to God in prayer and meditation and live out the seven attitudes mentioned in 2 Corinthians 7:11. King David repented and pursued God.

SINCERE HEART

Only sincere believers will grow. Paul rebukes the Corinthian church to grow up and come out from negativity. (1 Corinthians 3:2-5) (1 Peter 2:2)

GOOD HEART

A good heart is honest and seeks to get rooted and grounded in Christ. ‭‭(Luke‬ ‭8:15‬) They hear the word, keep it, and patiently bring forth fruit.

Grow from repentance to a good heart, dear believer. Without Jesus, we can do nothing. Without the Father's love, we are nothing. Be of good cheer because God wants your best. Cultivate a heart of love to meet our sweet love, Jesus.

Maranatha, Praise God, and Amen.
