6 Blessings In Serving God Everyday! (2/2)
Hello dear friends! 🌼🌸
The life of Daniel is a beautiful example of serving the Lord with utmost devotion and faithfulness. No matter whichever circumstance came up, he did his part of praying and serving God faithfully, everyday. Child of God, if you choose to follow the example of Daniel step by step in your life, God will not only bless you with spiritual blessings, He will honour you like Daniel as well!
Here’s the Second Part of the 6 Blessings we receive by Serving God Everyday:
Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of lions. Now the king spake and said unto Daniel, Thy God whom thou servest continually, he will deliver thee.
And when he came to the den, he cried with a lamentable voice unto Daniel: and the king spake and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy God, whom thou servest continually, able to deliver thee from the lions? Daniel‬ â€6:16, 20‬
- Blessings of Strength - If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles‬ â€7:14‬. Seeking His face means being in God’s presence and waiting for His counsel. By doing so, we receive strength from God.
- Blessings of Joy - The Lord desires that we continue in His love, by keeping the Father’s commandments. By doing so, He blesses us with fullness of joy. If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. John‬ â€15:10-11
- A Grateful Heart - By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. Hebrews‬ â€13:15‬. A thankful heart will always acknowledge God’s wonderful ways in his/her life. Fruit of our lips refers to offering praises to God continually. The Psalmist says that God has been holding him up since the time he was in his mother’s womb. Psalms 71:6. And for this, he never ceases to praise Him.
- Becoming the Precious Fruit - You and me are like cultivable lands before God and He, the Farmer. He first prepares us by letting us go through sun, storms, rain etc, then sows the seed of the Word of God into us. He then takes care, nourishes us and afterwards waits for the Precious Fruit to be born out of us. When we obey God’s Word and allow the Word to work in us, definitely we will be able to bring forth much fruit for the Lord.
Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. James‬ â€5:7‬
Like Daniel, may the Lord help us to be diligent in faithfully serving Him everyday! ❤️
