5 Ways We Get Impacted By Reading The Bible

"I read, but I'm unable to read the Bible."

Adam read the Bible every evening in the Garden of Eden. Wait, what? Yes, every evening, God would meet Adam. (Genesis 3:8)

It should not surprise us as believers because what can man do without God? Every evening, the saints prayed together at the start of the New Testament ministry that exploded with the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:46)

What is Bible reading essentially?

It is God speaking to us.

How do we grow in faith?

Hear the Word of God

Why is it so hard to read the Bible but easy to read other books? The Bible isn't an ordinary book. It is the Almighty Word of God. The devil will influence you to stop reading it. We are in a spiritual war.

HOW DOES READING THE BIBLE IMPACT US?

Here are five ways.

- It gives light (Psalms 119:130)

- It cleans us, keeps us holy (John 15:3)

- Keeps us from sin (Psalms 119:9-11)

- It brings joy (Psalms 1:2)

- It heals us mentally, emotionally and physically (Psalms 119:25)

The fleshly man gets drawn to extra knowledge, like Eve, desiring what he thinks is good for him. Eve, got attracted to the tree of the knowledge of good and evil as she conversed with the deceiver. The tree, God said not to eat off.

Disobedience left us with sinful natures that keep attacking us today in different ways. The attack is against our spirit, soul, and body. The world is full of Satan's deception. Just because someone can speak about good things does not make them worth listening to. Are they doing the will of God?

Every book or music NOT inspired by the Word is a dangerous deception creeping into our souls to destroy us.

Keep life simple. Listen to the One who created you. Everything in life will make sense in time.

Maranatha, Praise God, and Amen.
