3 Reasons Why We Need To Pray For The World

Do you pray for the world everyday?

Believers often get tired, praying for the world. The impact of the daily news weighs on their spirit making them easily tired.

Do you question the need to pray because the bible already says these things will happen, so why pray?

Don't remain tired, do not talk yourself out of it.
Receive your strength and pray like Jesus.

There are many reasons why we need to pray for everyone during crisis. Here are three reasons why we need to pray for the world.

3 reasons to pray for the world

1. It is acceptable to God (1 Timothy 2:1)
2. Do what Jesus did (John 17:20,21)
3. Desire peace for all (1 Timothy 2:2)

I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; (1 Timothy 2:1-3)

There are believers who are too busy protesting and wasting time pursuing faults of people in darkness. Instead of carrying the burden of Christ and patiently praying, many are pursuing hate.

There will be chaos and suffering because the hearts of men are full of evil. Who will pray for the lost souls? Only believers of Jesus understand the need to pray for the world. Believers do what God's Word and Spirit desires.

Jesus prayed fervently for the world. In His commitment to fulfilling the Father's will we see how he prayed with strong crying and tears. At times, blood running down like sweat.

And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground. (Luke 22:44)

Let's not faint from our commitment to pray for those in need across the world. May God help us each day to cry out for the people of this world. Maranatha, Praise God and Amen!
