2 reasons why believers go astray from God

How does a believer end up bound by anxiety and depression? When he rebels against the life designed for him to live in happiness.

There's a pattern for every outcome. Every fruit comes from a seed with deep roots that grow into a tree full of leaves and flowers.

God created man and provided more than man could think or imagine. God perfectly designed everything for man to live happily. But the man got too inventive for his good.

In the garden of Eden, man's innocence got manipulated by a scheming supernatural wicked being. Today, sin caused by disobedience is driving man against every Word spoken by God.

What did Israel do wrong to go astray?

(Isaiah 8:13-22)

  1. Instead of seeking and waiting on God, they sought familiar spirits and wizards.

  2. When hungry, they did not praise God but cursed and questioned Him.

The children of Israel lost the light of God in them. They went into the deeper darkness of unrest in their hearts, coupled with mental and emotional agony.

Saul sought after evil spirits to inform his walk. He was an anointed King who had the protection of God but lost his way because of disobedience. Some children turn to demonic encounters because it feels quicker and more powerful. It's a growing trend because fame and fortune feel much more gettable. Sadly, it leaves them more vulnerable than ever spiritually.

Many question God and curse Him, forgetting the fact that it was them who rejected Him in the first place.

As believers, God has blessed us with all we need. We lack nothing (by faith). For needs that require closure, we wait sincerely, trusting in God. Examine your ways and commit your life to God.

As we come to the end of this dispensation of grace, let's hold onto the promises of God. He is forever Faithful and True. Maranatha, Praise God, and Amen.
