7 Ways Satan Works Against Us! Part-1

The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. Psalms‬ ‭110:1‬

This verse is a prophecy concerning Jesus. He is sitting at the right hand of the Father and interceding for us until His enemies are brought under His feet. Since His children are partakers of flesh and blood, Jesus also in like manner became like them (yet without sin), so that through His death on the Cross, He might destroy the one who had power of death, that is the devil. Hebrews 2:14. The Lord desires us also to overcome the devil through Him and bring him under our feet by the grace of God.

WHAT DOES SATAN DO AGAINST US?

1. As soon as the Word of God is sown into our hearts, satan comes to steal it away from us. And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts. Mark 4:15. This verse refers to the parable of the sower and the seed, wherein the seeds fell on the wayside while sowing. The birds (devil) came and ate off the seeds. There’s, the only way to preserve His Word in our hearts is by preserving the grace of God in us.

2. He brings sickness and keeps the person bound to it. For this reason we need to keep satan under our feet. How? By being crucified with Christ as St.Paul says in Galatians 2:20. I am crucified with Christ, yet not I but Christ liveth in me.

3. He will put in our heart to lie against the Holy Spirit and against one another. Acts 5:3. This happened with a couple named Ananias and Sapphira. Satan beguiled them to lie to apostle Peter regarding the price of the land they had sold. Satan is a liar and father of lies. He deceived Eve in the garden of Eden by lying to her and making her doubt God’s word. Even today he does this against us, and for that not to happen God has shed abroad His love in our hearts so that we speak the truth from our hearts in love. Ephesians 4:15.
